Fred Jackson continues to get it done for the Buffalo Bills.

Jackson scored on a 9-yard run in the second quarter today at Ralph Wilson Stadium, the only touchdown so far for the Bills, who hold a 10-0 lead against the Miami Dolphins at halftime.

Jackson has carried eight times for 48 yards in the first half. That pushes him over 5,000 rushing yards for his career. He's just the third Buffalo running back in franchise history to reach that number, joining Thurman Thomas and O.J. Simpson.

Big stop: Undrafted free agent Nickell Robey continues to make big plays for the Bills' defense. Robey shot into the Dolphins' backfield from the right side of the Bills' defensive line to come up with a huge sack of Dolphins quarterback Ryan Tannehill on a third-down play at the Buffalo

Minimal returns: The Bills have forced seven punts by the Dolphins' Brandon Fields, with Leodis McKelvin returning three of them. McKelvin, though, has found very little room to run. McKelvin, in fact, has lost 7 yards combined on the three returns. Buffalo entered the game ranked 27th in punt return average.

Dareus sighting: Marcell Dareus entered the game for the Bills in the second quarter after sitting out all of the first. Dareus, who was probable for the game because of an ankle injury, practiced fully on Thursday and Friday. That makes him missing the first quarter a bit puzzling.
