Super Bowl matchup could put Bills in holding pattern with Mike Pettine, Browns

Looks like the Buffalo Bills might dangle another couple weeks over Mike Pettine's future with the team.
Pettine, coming off an impressive first season as Bills defensive coordinator, is a candidate for the Cleveland Browns' coaching vacancy. But the Browns may prefer to wait for a pair of coordinators who won Sunday.
Denver Broncos offensive coordinator Adam Gase and Seattle Seahawks defensive coordinator Dan Quinn will square off Feb. 2 in the Super Bowl.
The Browns are interested in both. NFL rules allow the Browns to meet with them this week but prohibit a formal job offer to Gase or Quinn until after the Super Bowl.
Multiple reports state Pettine will interview with the Browns a second time.
There are two ways the Bills won't have to wait the full two weeks. Pettine could withdraw from the process (unlikely), or the Browns could choose not to wait and hire him before the Super Bowl.
