The New Orleans Saints announced tonight they have signed safety Jairus Byrd to a six-year contract.

Byrd went to three Pro Bowls for the Buffalo Bills under three head coaches and three defensive coordinators.

Byrd will be paired with Saints sophomore Kenny Vaccaro, forming one of the NFL's most impressive safety duos.

Hey Byrd....may you crash and burn in New Orleans !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Whup-dee-do...now we don't have to listen to him whine!

Have fun with that foot N.O..

Glad it's over. He's been a distraction for over a year. I would have thought less of Doug Whaley if he "set the mark" for safeties in free agency by offering an outrageous contract to #31. Byrd is a pretty good safety, but he was a miserable SOB last year and he acted out. I'm just about ready to forget about him for good. Go Bills!

The Jets like that news...say what you want about Byrd, but he owned that team. We were a stronger team with Byrd on the field.

TEST!!!!!!!!!!!
