Anthony Dixon announces he's the Buffalo Bills' newest running back

Running back Anthony Dixon has tweeted from his verified account that he'll sign a contract with the Buffalo Bills on Saturday morning.

Dixon was at One Bills Drive today for a free-agent visit.

He has spent the past four years with the San Francisco 49ers, never missing a game and scoring two touchdowns each season.

His best year was as a sixth-round pick straight out of Mississippi State. He rushed for a career-high 237 yards, but has been stuck behind Frank Gore and Kendall Hunter.

Dixon likely will be the third running back for Buffalo, an upgrade over the inexperienced Ronnie Wingo.

He will be a good addition to the Bills ground game.
