Lowdown: McKinnon is one of the more intriguing prospects in the draft. He ran the triple-option as the quarterback for Georgia Southern, rushing for 1,817 yards as a junior and 1,050 as a senior. Georgia Southern ran on 86 percent of its offensive plays last season. McKinnon rushed for 125 yards and the winning TD in the Eagles’ 26-20 upset at Florida in November. At the scouting combine, McKinnon was fastest running back and had the second best vertical jump among backs. He lifted 225 pounds 32 times, tops among backs. The Buffalo Bills had McKinnon in for a visit on Tuesday.

He said it: “I love to make plays. I can make defenders miss and feel like I have good balance and patience. Pressing to the line, I can make a cut and get north-south real quick.”
